Have a ton of children’s books? Donate them to Half Price books to give to schools

Children’s books collected at the Half Price Books stores will be donated to local community organizations and schools as part of theĀ  Half Pint Library Book Drive. TY GREENLEES / STAFF

It might seem weird to donate books at Half Price Books stores rather than to sell them. Here’s why you should:

Now through Sunday, when you drop off used children’s books at Half Priced Books stores, Half Price Books will match your donation with additional books through its Half Pint Library Books Program.

Nonprofit organizations who need said books can pick them up at 10 a.m. May 10 at the 2506 W. Parmer Lane location. Find out more at halfpricebooks.com/half-pint-library-book-drive/.
