Mixing it up: the divide and conquer plan

Sometimes you just have to mix up the morning plan. After weeks of struggling to get kids moving in the morning and actual into school (who actually thinks schools is optional?), we decided to switch kids.

I get the really not awake, less communicative child. He gets the really not awake, way too verbal child. I’m not sure who go the better deal, but by 6:30 both kids were out the door and on or waiting for a bus. That hasn’t happened all year.

It probably won’t happen again, but today, I’m thankful for the morning victory.
